Thai FM to visit Cambodia on Dec. 29 to boost ties



   PHNOM PENH, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Thailand’s Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul, together with Pichai Naripthaphan, Thai Minister of Energy, will pay an official visit to Cambodia on Dec. 29-30 to strengthen bilateral ties between the two neighbors, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.
   The visit was made at the invitation of Cambodia’s deputy Prime Minister Hor Namhong, Minister of Foreign Affairs, it said.
   During the visit, Surapong and Pichai will pay a courtesy call on Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen, and hold bilateral talks with Hor Namhong, said the press release.
   In addition, Pichai will have a meeting with the deputy Prime Minister Sok An, Minister of the Council of Ministers.
